A Dream That Began
Far From Home
In 1968, Nur Mohammad left Bangladesh carrying little more than courage and conviction. He believed that meaningful work, done honestly, could build something lasting — for himself, his family, and ultimately his nation.
He established Pak Auto Rebuilding in Abu Dhabi, his first venture into the world of engineering and enterprise. A decade later, in Sharjah, he founded Nur General Engineering Works — deepening his technical expertise while building the discipline and industrial mindset that would later define a conglomerate.
Coming Home to
Build a Nation
Armed with experience, resources, and an unshakeable sense of purpose, Nur Mohammad returned to Bangladesh in 1980. He founded N. Mohammad Engineering Industry Ltd., planting the Group's first formal flag in the country's industrial landscape.
Seven years later, in 1987, he established N. Mohammad Plastic Industry Ltd. — a pioneering step that opened Bangladesh's plastic manufacturing sector to new ambition. This was not simply a business decision; it was an act of belief in local production, local employment, and local pride.
More Than a Businessman —
A Builder of Institutions
What made Nur Mohammad remarkable was not the number of ventures he built, but the intention behind each one. Every company he founded was anchored in a desire to contribute — to create employment, to serve communities, and to strengthen national industry.
His approach to leadership was rooted in character. He believed that trust, earned slowly and never taken for granted, was the only sustainable foundation for any enterprise. This conviction shaped the culture of N. Mohammad Group from its first day to its present moment.
Step by step, his vision expanded across industries and generations — transforming one man's determination into a national business legacy that now spans manufacturing, infrastructure, retail, and consumer solutions.
our Tradition."
Late Md. Nurul Hoque believed that lasting success could only be built on integrity. Not on transactions, but on relationships. Not on scale alone, but on character. That philosophy did not retire with him — it lives in every product the Group manufactures, every promise it keeps, and every home it serves.

Remarkable Life
A glimpse into the journey of Late Md. Nurul Hoque — the man behind the legacy.
The Three Pillars
of His Legacy
Industrial Foundation
He built Bangladesh's earliest polymer and plastic manufacturing capabilities — creating an industrial backbone that continues to power the Group's production across water tanks, pipes, fittings, and WPC products today.
Culture of Trust
Before processes and systems, he built a culture. Trust — with customers, employees, dealers, and communities — was not a strategy; it was a way of life that became the Group's most enduring competitive advantage.
A Living Legacy
More than ventures and industries, he left behind a second generation equipped with vision, values, and the responsibility to carry a national legacy forward — growing it while remaining true to the character he defined.
Second Generation
Leadership
As sons of the founder, they continue his path — not merely inheriting a business, but upholding a responsibility to quality, people, and national contribution.
